It's just a cross-town bus from you now, isn't it? We could meet there. We could "make plans" and meet there.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I had to google Horlicks, and now I think I need to try some.
Happy Birthday Kat!
But sober is a reasonable synonym for somber, isn't it? Or at least a similar idea.
Yes, but probably not the best word choice when talking about an alcoholic who's currently facing a huge amount of job stress. Or, perhaps, the perfect word choice.
I love plans!
I did not see this What Not To Wear with NO woman. But, I did see the repeat with the LA woman with the really bad weave a few nights ago. It's the only time I've seen Nick Arrojo truly flummoxed by a head of hair. He just looked horrified, sitting there picking at it.
Too much Flash on that Horlicks site. So what's the difference between Horlicks and Ovaltine? I'm a big fan of malt flavor. Except in beer. I don't like beer much at all (exception made for fruit lambics).
I get into these weird jags. I'm getting cold feet about making the Czech Christmas Bread so I thought I'd google to try to find Czech bakeries that do mail order. They're harder to find than you might think. I already knew there was a significant Czech-American population in TX, but now I also know about Wilber, NE.
Perkins, can you hop on IM?
Ovaltine. That stuff is fantastic.
What is Czech christmas bread?

Oh god, that girl. Poor Nick did what he could...
My guess was, she had spent some of her chidlhood speaking Russian or something Slavic, and then moved to the US before age ten, so her accent is there but not strong.
Interesting. It was definitely something.
Horlicks is more like Carnation Malted. I'm not sure what's in Ovaltine, except it tastes like crap. I do hate it.
I had a chocolate malted at the Charcoal Pit yesterday. It was delicious.
Happy Birthday, kat p!
