So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Weren't we just talking about the phrase 'Cowboy Up'? Now it is a short story collection of m/m "erotica" ...

It's heartening how quickly Brokeback Mountain is making itself known in pop culture. This morning a Memphis disc jockey used the title as a euphemism when she didn't want to come right out and say that Johnny Mathis was gay.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Then I got all worried, because I'm fairly certain that hugging may have occurred on the Zmayhem wedding weekend and what if Jesse hates me for it?

Don't you fret! I don't hate anyone for the hugging. I just do better when I'm prepared for it. Like at my last day at work yesterday, people kept wanting to hug me, but I had time to prepare when they started getting up from their chairs.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I know I have hugged Jesse several times. Luckily, she hid her revulsion very well, so they are cherished memories (for me, at least).

No revulsion! I don't hate hugging! It's more that I would never think to do it, so I'm often surprised when other people do.

That msbelle is a cheerful menace....

I feel ooky. I'm sure this is due to the fact I really need to go grocery shopping and have been eating stuff in my cabinets that is still in my cabinets because I shouldn't eat it because it makes me feel ooky.

I should have stopped for a burger last night.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

People kept looking at me this morning. I've checked (a number of times) to be sure I'm wearing clothes, and that there's nothing new on my face.

It's creepy.

sara, you and Jesse are really lucky that you get the occassional hugs and cheek pinching. The bffs from college and I are all in the horrible habit of licking each other's faces unannounced or poking each other in the breasticle.

The licking thing is gross.
