I love that smile of msbelle's. It's infectious.

If I'm smiling the least little bit, my eyes crinkle. I've got cheeks. Can't avoid it. Unless I'm doing the you are so fucked smile. That one is meaner and the eyebrows go up. Or, one does.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I'd just like to say, apropos of nothing, that in abstract algebra over the last month we've discussed homomorphisms a lot, so my notes are filled with "homom. phi" because I feel weird about the idea of writing "take a homo phi" all over the place. But I have discovered that "homom" is a kind of fun abbreviations to say.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Depends on where you want to take him. It could be fabulous.

But mostly I am just muttering "homom" over and over now. It's amusing.

I'm listening to the dulcet screeches of someone with an automatic and no concept of physics try to get out of a parking space. Lovely.

Add to that, the ground is one giant slushee and it is still raining.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Alias-watchers -- anyone else think that Lena Olin was never on set, and that the images of her were edited in at the last minute from old footage (and new voiceover)? Because WOW that looked fake.

Other than that, I loved this ep. Jack was extra-awesome!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Man, they're going to strike, aren't they?

I wondered about that, Jessica. It struck me as strange at least. I am going to rewatch tonight too, just to see.

Jack was mega-awesome!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This is weird -- since 9/11, I haven't seen the Simpsons episode where Barney is the designated driver and leaves Homer's car in NYC, between the towers of the WTC. But it's on tonight. Huh.

Our wings are not tired.

Alias-watchers -- anyone else think that ...

I watched it live and did have a disconnected feeling with that scene. Huh.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh brave new world, that has such shark-shaped submarines in it. [link]
