This is weird -- since 9/11, I haven't seen the Simpsons episode where Barney is the designated driver and leaves Homer's car in NYC, between the towers of the WTC. But it's on tonight. Huh.

Alias-watchers -- anyone else think that ...
I watched it live and did have a disconnected feeling with that scene. Huh.
Oh brave new world, that has such shark-shaped submarines in it. [link]
I can't quite even figure the *why* on the disconnect in that scene. But it was totally there for me.
I am about to do my rewatch. I will pretend that it is for the understanding and not the nummy factor...
Did you know steam can set off a smoke detector?
As can fire extinguishers, as everyone in the hotel discovered one con due to some idiotic drunken horseplay.
The Neuroophthalmologist is baffled. I have a lot of recent bleeding in the eye. So he wants me to come in early tomorrow morning to go to... I forget - the retina department?
Ack, tommyrot. I hope retina guy knows the answer.
Re last night's Alias: The only thing that really stuck with me was that Renee doesn't screw around. Her advancing on the van, firing round after round through the door before opening it made me say "Damn." I do agree that if they trot Sydney's mom out as a villian yet again I'm going to be extremely annoyed.
ETA: In other news, I now have cookie dough chilling in my fridge. Sad part is, for this particular recipe, baking them is as much work as making the dough. If only they didn't taste so damn good, I would stop making them every year. (But unfortunately I'd get lynched by friends and coworkers alike if I didn't make them.)
msbelle, if you gave up on that ANTM reunion show (and I hope you did), just check this recap: [link]
My office made us do a big dial-in test earlier this week so they could be sure everybody could telecommute. Then they announced they were running buses from Penn, so instead I have to take an earlier train and spend time in traffic.
Plus, I'm working off the extra half-day vacation I took by mistake, so I'm supposed to bill 10 hours.
Oy vay, Herah. That sounds of the suck.
Hey, how are your kids?
Jesse was on my tv! She was very cute! and more than once ( and we fast forwarded thru most of the show) both DH and I felt the need to kick Issac.
I'm about to watch Jesse! Yay.
On the way home, I discovered that my car has an automatice Ice Alert, which goes off whenever the outside temp gets below 37. I am pretty sure I never needed to know that.
