She hugged me because of you.

I think the sysadmins are basically taking the rest of the day off. There are 5 of them crammed into the office next door and they are decidedly NOT discussing work.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

When's D-day?

It's looking like the 31st, depending on cat transport issues. And thanks!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't have to do any work on my last day, right? Because I'm not. Maybe I'll do some filing, but that's about it.

I think you are just supposed to waste resources and keep the chair warm on your last day.

I just noticed this rather alarmingly red scratch across my chest. No idea when or how it got there. I don't *think* it was there this morning.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am leaving in half an hour to train to downtown Chicago to see a Neurophthalmologist. But I don't feel like doing any work until then.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

That sounds cool, Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, it was fun.

tommyrot, you couldn't possibly get anything done in a half hour, so there's really no point in trying. Like how I wouldn't get anything done all morning when I had 10am staff meetings. I mean, there's no point in starting anything before the meeting, and then once it's done, it's practically lunch time, so...
