I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

That sounds cool, Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, it was fun.

tommyrot, you couldn't possibly get anything done in a half hour, so there's really no point in trying. Like how I wouldn't get anything done all morning when I had 10am staff meetings. I mean, there's no point in starting anything before the meeting, and then once it's done, it's practically lunch time, so...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Jesse is wise.

I had never heard the phrase "cowboy up" before you used it, connie, but having googled I a) want to rent the movie b) will use it all the time now.

We clearly live in different parts of LA, ita. I've seen "cowboy up" decals on cars and trucks for at least three years. It is very much along the lines of "butch it up", but less metrosexually.

new and improved msbelle, now with extra bossy!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've seen "cowboy up" decals on cars and trucks for at least three years.

The only cowboy car decals I can remember are "Save a horse, ride a cowboy." It's perfectly possible that "cowboy up" totally slipped past my radar due to incomprehension. I'm kinda like that.

Relatedly, I've heard "Save a cowboy, ride Jake." is rising in popularity.

hip deep in pie

Could she be more bossy?

On my own personal boss front, I say blargh! She's making me totally revise something that's been the same since 2002, even though the revision is not necessary.

Not surprising. The diversity of humanity and all. The Save a Horse ones are much more recent.
