The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Testing the backwash of a 747. I love the music choice too.

Very cool. Ignoring the corpse and dead pig talk. No coffee yet.

J, the 14th of January?

Art Crawl!!!

As if Andy Warhol were given a lot of speed and a TV deal

Yeah, but when he was actually on alot of speed and making movies -- weren't they all about nothing? Like, no action?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

J, the 14th of January?

Yup.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Last day of work! In your FACE, stupid job! The one good thing about only doing bullshit clerical work? There's very little to "hand off."

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

Yeah, but when he was actually on alot of speed and making movies -- weren't they all about nothing? Like, no action?

They were probably absolutely fascinating to other people who were also on a lot of speed.

Yay! Plus, tonight, we all get to see you in your fabulous suit.

Yup

Hmm.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm not even sure what kind of relays my heating system might have. During the house inspection, the inspector found a patent plate on the big "snowman" furnace that indicated it was patented in 1922. We know for sure that it was retrofitted from coal to gas....

You need something that's both going to fragment and send wet gobbets flying.

Bring on the Mil. Spec. Chicken(s)!

Which were in fact used for testing how military jet engines would react if they ran into a flock of birds. Bird who happened to be frozen chickens hanging around presumably in mid-air, but still.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, I need to get the LJ layout fixed, stat.

I think the black beads take it in a landslide. Which is good, because I bought them specifically for the dress before I realised I had a bunch of other necklaces that might work too.

Librarian Warlord

Also, I'll be done at 6:30ish on the 14th, if anyone wants to grab dinner with me. There will be reminders. Possibly begging.
