When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I CSSed b.org.

Ooooh, that's why I feel all tingly.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, I can see how it's tough to find a balance.

ION, I love my local news. Dennis Rodman was apparently supposed to be on this morning, and the newscaster is all "we just got a call that Dennis just got back to his hotel room a half hour ago, from being out partying, so I guess he won't be here after all." No vague disclaimers there. And her voice and face - totally snitty.

Usually I hate local news, but this one channel they're just so goofy that it's fun to watch.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, the pants I bought the other day tht were really almost black? Yeah, NSM. They're brown. Dark brown, but still. It must have been the weird store light tricking me. I guess I'm fine with that. I can still wear them with black shoes, right?

Yup, especially if your top has some black in it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Snitty? With the Worm? Man, unless it's a game, (and sometimes even then) it's a gamble. Big gamble.

I just read an article about Jamaican grave robbers which has a really peculiar quote:

"What the persons from the cult are practising is called necromancy, which is a Haitian form of voodoo,"

Which makes no sense on a number of levels. But I do love the firm assertion that there was no necrophilia. I wonder if there's a heightened national tension about weird sex after the man and the goat and the thrubbing and the glayvin.

I mostly wear things that are only one color at a time, but thanks.

All of the firm assertions in that article are hilarious. Necrophilacs? Do bad stuff. Want to get rid of a cult? Pray.

Hee. Now Rodman just showed up.

Ann, that's a ferret.

How long is your cruise, Fred?

14 days. It's a little scary how close we'll be to South America, even though we won't be landing there.

"No one had sex with the body, but I can confirm that this lady's right-hand glove was taken,"

I have to wonder what was going on.

We need to send a fashion crew out to you (that Mizrahi guy obviously didn't go far enough) to mix things up a little.

Not so much for your benefit, as for ours.

That sounds like you'll have fun, Fred. I'm not reallt a cruise sort of person (too many ports, too little time), but now it's occurring to me that you could totally have a great SCUBA cruise, and dive a number of places. Huh.

I have to wonder what was going on.

Yeah. I'm not as comforted by the lack of necrophilia as I should be, I guess. Though I'm sure relatives of the dead lady prefer the missing clothes.

I got a provocateuse email complaining that I had placed a multiply-applicable picture in just one category. It tickles me that people care enough to write. And it made me look at my stats (it's in the lowest-trafficked of the three applicable sites, but barefoot and wet get about the same) and I'm startled to see that the hands site is doing half again as much traffic as the next site up, with 22GB in 5 days.

Teppy is not alone.

I'm curious about this ID defying guy. Just because there's not a law requiring him to show ID doesn't mean it's not a really good idea. I haven't seen that he has a security plan of any sort to replace what he's trying to dismantle.

I've also gotten lost in the Sephora Clinique lipwear section. If they'd had Black Honey Glosswear in stock, I'd not have gone browsing, but damn that stuff looks shiny, in more than one sense of the word.

Because books.

Possible TiVo alert for Grey's Anatomy fans: Ellen Pompeo will be on Regis and Kelly tomorrow.
