You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Ann, that's a ferret.

How long is your cruise, Fred?

14 days. It's a little scary how close we'll be to South America, even though we won't be landing there.

"No one had sex with the body, but I can confirm that this lady's right-hand glove was taken,"

I have to wonder what was going on.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I mostly wear things that are only one color at a time, but thanks.

We need to send a fashion crew out to you (that Mizrahi guy obviously didn't go far enough) to mix things up a little.

Not so much for your benefit, as for ours.

That sounds like you'll have fun, Fred. I'm not reallt a cruise sort of person (too many ports, too little time), but now it's occurring to me that you could totally have a great SCUBA cruise, and dive a number of places. Huh.

I have to wonder what was going on.

Yeah. I'm not as comforted by the lack of necrophilia as I should be, I guess. Though I'm sure relatives of the dead lady prefer the missing clothes.

I got a provocateuse email complaining that I had placed a multiply-applicable picture in just one category. It tickles me that people care enough to write. And it made me look at my stats (it's in the lowest-trafficked of the three applicable sites, but barefoot and wet get about the same) and I'm startled to see that the hands site is doing half again as much traffic as the next site up, with 22GB in 5 days.

Teppy is not alone.

I'm curious about this ID defying guy. Just because there's not a law requiring him to show ID doesn't mean it's not a really good idea. I haven't seen that he has a security plan of any sort to replace what he's trying to dismantle.

I've also gotten lost in the Sephora Clinique lipwear section. If they'd had Black Honey Glosswear in stock, I'd not have gone browsing, but damn that stuff looks shiny, in more than one sense of the word.

Because books.

Possible TiVo alert for Grey's Anatomy fans: Ellen Pompeo will be on Regis and Kelly tomorrow.

Hey, was someone here looking for a record player or turntable the other day? I was in Urban Outfitters of all places and they had several different types.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Timelies!

We had close to a foot of snow in KC and the temp is about 6 degrees. I was a half an hour late to work because of it, but I've been sitting here since 8:30 and so far I'm the only one who's made it into the office. The pressroom folk are here.

oops, one of the bosses just got here! Bye now!

I'm getting the pig!

brenda, I think it was MaidenGurl over in Bitches.

Teppy is not alone.

See, this freaked me out. Not *in* context, in context it's fine. More because my eye caught the sentence before reading the rest of ita's post. Sounded like a line out of a horror movie.

Morning!

ita, lucky for you that Clinique still makes Black Honey. I went on a fruitless search for Ruby Melt in their almost lipsticks and it was GONE. Was bereft.

Now I'm using Sheer Ruby from origins. It's a little glossy, but transparent enough to work for me.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

brenda, what local news channel do you watch? I watch WGN - they're usually pretty funny.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They almost might as well not make the Black Honey gloss, since it's so often sold out when I go shopping for it. But thank god they do. I'd hate to be on a Ruby Meltish quest. I usually buy it in twos (one for the bag, one for the house), but next time I find it I'm buying four, I think. It's just the right colour, and my lips stay moisturised through almost a whole work day.
