We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Coding and Sleeping

The trouble with Dion, Morrissette, McLachlan is that none of them is really that kind that you look at them and say, "Oh, [country]."

So Shania Twain isn't going to work either?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ah, but what are the chances of someone skimming that and then going somewhere else?

I do it cause I get frequent flyer miles at B&N, but not Amazon.

But I am a freak about frequent flyer miles.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What should I do with my windfall?

Tempur-Pedic.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

That's a mattress, Tom? Really?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Country 'Y' was not Mexico.

Damn. It was France, wasn't it? In which case, Catherine Deneuve.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dana has one of those mattresses, Consuela, and I'm pretty sure she likes it. I've heard great things about them.

Do you already have a large flatscreen monitor? That's what my first bonus went on.

Wah. Bonus time always makes me so sad, because I work for a Looniversity. (Even though I got a bonus this year, very unusually. (Our bonuses happen in summer). It went away immediately on normal expenses.)

I think Betsy has one, also.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Ah, but what are the chances of someone skimming that and then going somewhere else? And if I have an opposition to Amazon's online shopping, why am I going to use their services?

Actually - i did at lot of shopping at other places useing wishlists from amazon. But I like the double bonus for my money - stuff and politics I prefer.

Why Monday's Daily Show was a repeat.

We get bonuses (if at all) sometime in the spring. We shall see.

Had a meeting with my boss in which she finally raised the illness question. I reminded her I'd not taken a sick day this whole time, and in fact was working from the ER when I had to go in. I explained the whole 1-3 (yeah, we're up to three some days) migraines a day thing, and that I was making sure I was getting everything done -- I might not be present, but I was dependable.

It's hard to read her, but when we discussed other work responsibilities I could take on, she did mention taking into account what of them I could do from home.
