Woe to the fucking wicked.

Many happy returns of the day, Gar.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

psst, TomW, if you mouse over Mully's on the map, his info pops up. I suspect that's where the familiarity comes from.

ION, Next year I will buy my own gifts and have my family send me checks, because even spoon feeding them requested information is too overwhelming for them. Or maybe just tell them not to bother. Whatever. I don't care much about the gifts, but it is annoying to keep having the same dialouge about what I want/need over and over again, and I don't even want or need anything and it just seems to suck all the "it's the thought that counts" out of things and makes me feel mercenary and I hate it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Happy Birthday, Gar!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Nora seems to have my family. How did that happen? If I have to answer one more question about what kind of coffeepot I want, bad things will happen.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tomaggedon?

A Tomaggedon is what you use to slide down the snow on the MounTom during the Tompacalypse.

Oh boy do I hear you, although it's more that nobody knows what we're doing this year, so some people aren't sure if they are doing anything and others are carrying on like normal. I'm trying for the latter, my motivation is low, and my sense of what to get people is practically non-existent. I've done some, which I'm pretty happy about, but now I'm just flummoxed. And this is more on friends than family. Bleh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think my mother's giving me something she picked up on her India trip, my father already gave me a knife from his China trip, and we've given them stuff we got for them in Kenya. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to get stuff for my sister (or if she's getting me anything), but otherwise, that's the bulk of my gift exchanging that doesn't involve heifer.org.

Nice, simple, in keeping with my energy reserves.

oh well, if they can't get with the amazon wishlistness of it all, then cash is a good request. Nora, I am happy to adopt you at anytime. FYI.
