I've never gotten flowers, so one reflexive reaction to that business is yay! Pretty things! (They recommend sending them to her work, too) And they have a panic button in case you've fucked up, you can say how badly, and scale the flowers appropriately.

Also, I think that GA is more a comedy than a drama. I think that Elizabeth Heigl as well as Sandra Oh could have been nominated in the comedy sections.

Still worth the thinking! The question, should you have the time and feel like going, "Hmm, wonder why..." is this: if you divide f(x) by (x-a), why is the remainder always f(a)? It's sort of obvious why this is true for f(a)=0, but even when it isn't it's true, and I'm racking my brain as to why. It's gotta be something simple in the division algorithm, but my exhausted, Turing-filled brain can't figure it out.

Chandra Wilson should get a nom in Ass Kickingest category. You know, opposite Victor Garber and the like. I think Sandra Oh is the crispest comedic performer on the show, although Heigl's not bad.

I think it depends on why you like to get flowers. Do you like it because it means he thought of you just now? Because if it's about having repeated sweet things done for you, this isn't such a win.

On the other hand, since I buy my own flowers, hell, I could sign myself up. That would only be marginally sad, but it would save me having to go to the florist, and add some unpredictability to the whole thing.

Ok- you know how sometimes in fanfic the abbreivations and portmanteaus can be craxy.

I just read a document created by my artistic director intended for stage management students to read to train them that contains so many abbrievaiations that my brain is spinning. There is the Production Manager (PM) the Production Stage Manager (PSM) the Props Master (PrM) the Assistant Props Master (AprM) the Assistant Production Manager (APM) the Assistant Stage Manager for Props (ASMPr). Then there is the Artistic Director (ArD), the Assistant Director (AD), the Assitant Wardrobe Coordinator (AWC), Audio Visual Engineer (AVI), the Assistant Stage Manager Costumes (ASMC)... and on and on
