Geez Louise- are their no comic actesses NOT in Desperate Housewives?
Does anyone watch Desperate Housewives? Are the actresses that good?
I think Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross are very good. That good? Better than all but three other women out there? I don't watch enough comedy to be sure. Longoria and Hatcher have nothing special going for them.
Quick poll: Good idea or not?
I need to be all over the follow-up today, like a pitbull on a haunch of venison.
Damn girl, that is ALL over.
The Desperate Housewives thing has to be because hour-long shows are "better" than half-hour ones, right?
Am very tired. Am at school. Paper due at 6. With accompanying power point. Paper is half-written. Powerpoint is two sketches. Ugh.
Quick poll: Good idea or not?
Yes, if buying flowers for your sweetie is just something on your relationship obligations checklist. But then you are lame.
I blew a fuse this morning. While I was in the shower. There were no spare fuses of the right type in the basement. Flatmate is at home right now, peeing in the dark (if she does pee in the next couple of hours). She is too busy to go out and find new fuses, so I will have to do ti on my way home.
I think electricity hates me.
Quick poll: Good idea or not?
I think it might work for a while, but I think sooner or later, especially if you are too busy to pick up a phone and send flowers yourself, it'll get figured out. And what if the flower place remembers her birthday, but you still forget?
I like it. Because I basically buy this argument:
Women love getting flowers. They also know you well enough to recognize you are busy and may not be great at stuff like this, and the fact you are finally taking control and making an effort is a big, big deal.
Doing something once that means multiple nice things for me is A-OK.
Good idea or not
I can imagine it might be a good idea, for certain couples, but I doubt that the execution lives up to the idea. Can a corporation send out bunches of these things and still make them seem spontaneous?
