Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Missed a birthday? Dammit. Happy birthday, Consuela!

Do you at least have a little time off this month? And how are you feeling physically?

I have the stats, which is just one day, so I might need to put in for another. I get lax when I don't travel.

Physically, I feel like crap. I'm two Imitrex into a horrible migraine, and am going for the anti-nausea pill next.

Is it because they have other obligations for people who are more demanding than you? Or are they just blowing you off? I've found that some people really do need more frequent reminders of deadlines and stuff

Their boss thinks they need to be on my page, and he is working today, because he's already answered my wee hours plea for support.

Problem is not just making the deadlines (they tend to avoid me when they miss them), but they don't tell me that things need to be done. So when I say "We have all the pre-reqs listed here?" they say yes, and then at the last minute (or later) we discover that's not true.

It's crazymaking.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy belated, Suela!!

But she's a Pancakeista, apparently, and had put it together a while ago when I recognized the TT interface on her screen and she figured out I liked Buffy (which I've been pretty open about at work).

That's really funny.

OK, I just got the weekly phone call to parents out of the way, so that's good. My paper is basically exactly half written -- I have half of each section written, more or less. It's fine. I should have slept in longer this morning.

speaking of which, can you have some songs in iTunes be in a playlist only?

That's a good time. I actually really like the mix I'm putting together. Oh! And I just bought a shitload of blank CDs, so anyone who is into jazzy/R&B/miscellaneous Christmas music should feel free to drop me their address. You probably won't get it until after this Christmas, but it'll keep til next year.

Everything's in the library--what are you trying to achieve?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday Plus One, Consuela!

Just as a guess, msbelle, you can go into playlists and exclude anything with the "holiday" or "christmas" genre.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Happy belated birthday, Consuela!

I want to have a holiday playlist, but I don't want those songs to play when I am shuffling through my full library.
