I rewatched "Lost" this summer with Beau (who really hadn't seen the show since season 1. It was interesting rewatching it and it is much more enjoyable doing a marathon (we typically watch 2 eps at once, 2-4x a week).
Season 3, though, really sucks and very little can redeem it except the final 2-3 eps in the season. Watching Jack's tattoo episode again made the baby jesus cry.
We will be starting Season 5 tonight. I'm not really looking forward to this, not because I think S5 is bad, but because the time travel stuff makes me grit my teef. I figure we will finish Season 5 by Halloween. We will see...
You have three hours to buy this shirt.
Somebody needs to get one of those for the Zmayhems. I'm not sure which one though.
Lost
returns on...02/02/2010. Tuesday at 9, its new spot. Some casting spoilers in the article.
My Thursdays are overflowing, so that's fine. I guess they're pairing it with
V
instead of
FlashForward
?
What day was it on last year? Was it Thursday? Or was it Wednesday? I know it's been on Tuesday before because it was up against
Veronica Mars
at one point. Or the other way around, really.
It was on Wednesday, iirc.
Tuesday at 9?
I think that's okay. . . I don't think I have any conflicts.
I am amused that the final season of
Lost
is premiering on Groundhog's Day.
Doc Jensen has a looong article talking about that. This is a fun bit from the article:
For those who've made the segue to Blu-ray, the season 5 collection includes maybe the coolest bonus feature in the history of bonus features: ''Lost University.'' You can click over to lostuniversity.org for more info — and you can check out the next issue of EW, wherein you'll find a review by fellow Lost nut (and Totally Lost takeover terrorist!) Adam B. Vary.
And then there is this, a package that would make a great holiday gift for any Lost super-fan (though if I know Lost super-fans the way I know Lost super-fans, I'm sure they've already pre-ordered one of these for themselves): ''Lost: The Complete Fifth Season Dharma Initiative Orientation Kit.''
Man, reading the article just brought home how much I've forgotten about Lost.
