Lost 2: Tied to a Tree in a Jungle of Mystery

Does it bother anyone else that if Flight 419 resets, that Juliet could very well still be kidnapped to the Island when the Others take over the Dharma project?
(That is, unless the A-bomb somehow changes the fate of the Dharma Project so that Young Ben doesn't massacre them.
You know? I SO hope that the final season opens with another airplane crash. That would be so... cool.
They kept saying the bomb would (or might, I'm not sure) kill everyone on the island. If that happens, I don't know what that does to island history.
Ben's history should change significantly, no?
Seems like. Would there even be a Ben, anymore? Maybe not.
It's too wide open for me to think about.
Rose and Bernard = awesome. 'We're retired."
The high point of the episode for me. Yep, they can pretty much do anything they want for the next season. I'll watch. I've reached a point of acceptance. No matter what the wacky, it doesn't faze me anymore. Lots of interesting characters to offset the boring stupid love quadrangles.
Not much to say about the finale really since it is a reset.
Here's my thinking on Jack's motivation: yes, setting off a bomb and changing history because he lost Kate sounds stupid, but I think it is more of a shorthand for bigger changes in his worldview. losing Kate has become a symbol to him of bottoming out with the crazy beard and everything, and how he got out of that was to believe in Locke and getting back to the island and fulfilling his destiny. And if his destiny is to change history, well, that's just grandiose enough to make everything all right in Jack's mind.
Juliet, I feel like I understand her decisions but I don't think I can explain them. I'll have to think about it a bit more.

It wouldn't be J.J. Abrahms without at least one honking big reset. I just hope this goes better than the last few on Alias.
But see...Jack's life was a fucking mess before he ever set foot on the plane. None of them did were doing very well before getting on the plane. Sawyer definitely improved his life after the plane landed - especially the 3-4 years he was in the '70s. Sun has a child she probably wouldn't have had.
I don't see how Jack's life post-crash is that much more miserable than pre-crash. It's all part of Jack's craziness. I still like Jack's character for some odd reason, but he gets stuck and focused on a particular course and won't be dissuaded from it no matter what.
BTW, I have a strong feeling that Jacob visited Walt way back when. I wonder if we will see Walter one last time.

Yeah, le nubian, I also like Jack's character, which makes us a minority in fandom, but dear God, did I want to rip his fucking face off during the finale. So freaking stubborn and pigheaded.

Was it? His wife left him and his family life was far from great, but his career was in good shape and he didn't have that awful beard.
Sawyer, I will grant you, was better off on the island in the 60s than any other time.
I still want to know where Sun's baby is. Who on earth could she have left her with?
