Also? Holy shit. I thought they'd go for the meaningful ending, with Sayid realizing that if he shot young!Ben, it would prove that adult!psycho!Ben was right, and so Sayid would prove adult!psycho!Ben wrong by not shooting young!Ben.
Plus, who the hell shoots a kid? Dang.

Yeah, I don't think it will take. It was a shocking image -- to see Sayid shoot a child, but when I remember who that child is, what was shocking to me was my lack of concern.
It won't take, but that doesn't change the fact that Sayid did it. That's hardcore.
