How different would that make her?
Not that I have any sort of understanding of the mechanism that moved them back in time (I had been thinking that they were caught in the same flash that jumped Sawyer et al back, but that must have been 3 years before, so I have all this handwavium lying around and nothing to throw it at), so, sure, that could be it. The island is full of weirdness wrt pregnancy and babies.
all I can say is that she was pregnant when she left the island and not so when she returned!
Oh, when she left, right. I was thinking it was a difference between the first arrival on the island and the second, but your way makes sense.
I am wondering if because Sun was physically different from the Sun who flew the first time, if this is what held her in the present.
She had a child between the time she flew the first and second time.
It could also be Sun is more tied to the present (because of her baby) than the rest of her fellow lost-aways.
And here we go on tonight's crazy train...
Man, they cast young Ben perfectly. I mean, I know it's the same actor as last season (or whenever we first saw him), but it just bears repeating.
Also, I remember Ben's father being neglectful, and blaming Ben for his mother's death, but I don't remember him being phsyically abusive. Hard to blame Ben for offing him.
Time-travel paradoxes make my head hurt.
Also? Holy shit. I thought they'd go for the meaningful ending, with Sayid realizing that if he shot young!Ben, it would prove that adult!psycho!Ben was right, and so Sayid would prove adult!psycho!Ben wrong by not shooting young!Ben.
Plus, who the hell shoots a kid? Dang.
man. I cannot believe what they just did. I wonder if it will stick.
