It feels like pieces falling into place, whereas, having watched The Last Frakkin' Special, I know for sure that Ron Moore just makes it up as he goes along.
Funny how a couple of years ago we would have said the exact opposite!
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Heh. That is also true.
OMG, I just noticed on my DVR that tonight's episode is titled "Namaste". Thanks to this board, I can no longer see that word and not immediately think "Motherfucker!"
It was so hard not to make that my TWoP headline. I'm pretty sure thessaly came up with that one.
I thought this episode of Lost was short on crazy. Maybe I'm just immune to it, now? (Or assimilated. Yeah. More likely that.)
I thought that Sun and Lapidus were already in time/place that Locke is in, with the rest of the Ajira crash survivors.
Sun was the only one of the original flight 815 folks who wasn't mysteriously zapped out of the plane when it crashed. (I'm assuming that Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sayid were somehow mysteriously spirited away, given that Jack woke up flat on his back in the jungle and nowhere near the plane.)
So, the people who got zapped out of the plane (or whatever happened to them) ended up in 1977, but Sun, Ben, not-dead!Locke, Lapidus, and the rest of the passengers seem to have ended up in the present.
I laughed and laughed at Jack being a janitor.

And Locke.

And Locke.
I was including him with the rest of plane by default, since at the time of the flight he was more "cargo" than "passenger," but yes, I should have specified that.
Sun was the only LIVING member of the original flight 815 folks who wasn't mysteriously zapped out of the plane when it crashed.
Yeah, and I will want a good explanation as to why she wasn't, dammit.
Um, from the show, not from y'all.
Wee Ben, still creepy.
I am wondering if because Sun was physically different from the Sun who flew the first time, if this is what held her in the present.
She had a child between the time she flew the first and second time.
How different would that make her?
Not that I have any sort of understanding of the mechanism that moved them back in time (I had been thinking that they were caught in the same flash that jumped Sawyer et al back, but that must have been 3 years before, so I have all this handwavium lying around and nothing to throw it at), so, sure, that could be it. The island is full of weirdness wrt pregnancy and babies.
all I can say is that she was pregnant when she left the island and not so when she returned!
