so, are we likely going to meet young Ben? do any of the castaways know he gassed Dharma?
They need to decamp before that happens.

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Oh ita, I wasn't defending TWoP. I was just pointing out the recaplets exist, in case you want a shorter way to keep up with Lost. I'm sorry my post came across otherwise. And you didn't draw me out. I'd just mailed out the recaplet for this episode and decided to pop in here and read the reaction to the episode before I went to bed.
And yes, it was my birthday yesterday. Thank you.

This is in the front of my mind too, le nubian. And I can't figure out how they're going to fix things -- or if they already fixed them by saving Amy's life.
I loved the episode too. And I was also thinking - the crazier the better!
And Sawyer and Juliet were great together. Despite the quadrangle possibilities I'm interested in how Sayid gets involved and where the heck is Sun?
I wonder why those Others broke the truce and shot Paul? Were they kidnapping Amy? If so, I wonder why... she wasn't pregnant then...
Also, WAH, I wanted to see more of the statue time. I am really intrigued by the island's older or ancient origins and we have almost none of that. Pre-20th century plz!
Cindy,
but...wouldn't Faraday say: what happened already happened. They aren't changing anything.
Little Ben apparently hasn't hit the island yet, I don't think.

I keep hoping they'll give us a shot of not!Batmanuel's bare feet sometime and reveal that he only has four toes.
Richard Alpert is a cartoon, that's why he doesn't age!
Just occurred to me: if Locke's body didn't timeshift with Jack et al on the last flash, but he came back to life, might Charlotte also have been brought back to life?
Very curious as to why Amy and the baby survived.

I definitely take everything that Daniel says with a grain of salt BECAUSE HE IS CRAZY. I hope he has something more interesting and dynamic to do soon... he had such potential but got all wet rag-ish as soon as Charlotte became sick.

le nubian, I think Ben came there in the 60s, so he'd hit the island well before that. I think. I can't even remember why I think that, but I do. I suspect that by 1977, he'd already defected from the Dharma Initiative to Richard's Others. I'm starting my research, now. I loved last night's episode, but I was ready to quit, just thinking about summarizing it. From a writing perspective, it's much easier to recap it scene by scene (so, a long-TWoP regular recap) than it is to give just the facts, because who the heck can tell what's important on this show?
Right, Nora. And Daniel's speaking as a scientist -- and thinking of rules. It's difficult to know where the rules end and where the facts of what you can and can't change begin.
