There's a recaplet and a recap. The recaplet is much shorter and goes up the day after the episode. Once the recap is published, the recap is hidden, but there's a link that uncovers it at the top of the page.

Sorry to draw you out in defense of your employers--I didn't mean to rag on them. There are definite business reasons to have recaps as long as TWOP does, but my patience isn't large. I'll give the recaps a look.

Oh ita, I wasn't defending TWoP. I was just pointing out the recaplets exist, in case you want a shorter way to keep up with Lost. I'm sorry my post came across otherwise. And you didn't draw me out. I'd just mailed out the recaplet for this episode and decided to pop in here and read the reaction to the episode before I went to bed.

Also, WAH, I wanted to see more of the statue time. I am really intrigued by the island's older or ancient origins and we have almost none of that. Pre-20th century plz!
