I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Do you believe Sawyer's in love with Kate?

I do not. In fact, I assumed that he was murmuring about someone/something else entirely, and Jack just jumped to the conclusion he was talking about Kate.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Do you believe Sawyer's in love with Kate?

People who are infatuated with someone often believe that they are in love. That doesn't make it so.

But I think we're headed toward a semantic discussion of "What Is Love", and I don't particularly want to go there. Just accept that I Am Right, OK?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

And I still don't believe that Sayid loved her.

Not a bit. Though a lot of that is the fact that I found Shannon an intolerably dull character.

I think Sawyer could be "in love with" Kate, which is different than loving her. But I also think he was muttering about someone else when Jack heard him.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Do you believe Sawyer's in love with Kate?

It's possible, but it's a totally different situation, IMO. First of all, he doesn't have a long and tragic backstory that involves being in love with another woman, for whose sake he deserts the army and travels all over the world looking for her; for another thing, Sawyer and Kate have a lot more chemistry, and a lot more in common, than Sayid and Shannon.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Was it just a regular horse that happened to cause the accident, or was it something more?

Anyone want to bet the horse's name is Desmond?

I was very underwhelmed by the missing bit of film, and I would have thought Locke's immediate reaction, given his faith in pushing the button, would be to get Michael to stop playing around with the computer rather than exchange knowing yet enigmatic looks with Eko.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

People who are infatuated with someone often believe that they are in love. That doesn't make it so.

So that's a no, right?

Art Crawl!!!

It's nice that Kate thinks that she is in love with Sawyer too. . .

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I loved the bit where Sawyer was convinced they'd been rescued, and wouldn't believe it until Kate actually showed him the jungle.

Art Crawl!!!

How did I forget that? I loved that too -- he was so happy.

Yes, it's nice they have crushes on each other.
