1950's, hydrogen bombs, anti-American military... dunno, I slept a lot in history class. Their accents seem fairly American (Canadian?) minus the Blonde With a Gun.
Oh, Daniel, you did human experiments, you bad boy, and now you see it happening to the (latest) woman that you love!
Charles Widmore! Was an Other!
so is the son named after grandpa or island brother?
Why is it LOST can pull off this multiple time-travel shit and make me hungry for more and with HEROES it makes me want to throw things at the screen?
I'm guessing character consistency, and that they sorta do seem to actually have a plan mapped out (PLEASE!). I hate to say it, but I think JJ's lack of involvement may have helped this show in the long run.
they definitely have a plan. they had to explain it to the ABC execs.
I don't know if all elements of said plan will make sense, but they have a plan. this ain't x-files.
this ain't x-files.
What, they're totally going to scrap the Others/Dharma/Black Oil and bring in the Super!Others. I kid. Ever since I read the relief on the writers/creators part that an end was in sight so they could tell the story they wanted to tell, rather than milking it indefinitely, my faith has been restored.
that's so mean! but true.
yeah, and given the show's ratings, I hope they get to next year.
I think toddler Charles was named after Charlie - because he saved Desmond's life and facilitated the reunion with Penny.
Desmond centric episodes rock.
I had thought that Richard Alpert was on the Island since whenever the pirate ship was foundered there.. . but this episode makes me think he may have only been there since the 50s.
