Why is it LOST can pull off this multiple time-travel shit and make me hungry for more and with HEROES it makes me want to throw things at the screen?

I'm guessing character consistency, and that they sorta do seem to actually have a plan mapped out (PLEASE!). I hate to say it, but I think JJ's lack of involvement may have helped this show in the long run.

What, they're totally going to scrap the Others/Dharma/Black Oil and bring in the Super!Others. I kid. I had thought that Richard Alpert was on the Island since whenever the pirate ship was foundered there.. . but this episode makes me think he may have only been there since the 50s.
