Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I also wonder how much of the truth Oceanic knows.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

So I guess the Oceanic Six really does include Aaron. I really thought they were holding out for a big revelation, like the final fifth Cylon.

At first, when the rear hatch of the plane opened and some crew came forward with a plank, I thought it was a stretcher for a body/wounded individual, and that we'd get a reveal of who the sixth survivor was, but, NO. That would have been cool, though.

Loved Sawyer's "Damnit, I can't let you die alone" to Jack (*smishes*) and then Kate's horrified "both my boyfriends are going to die!" look.

We only have TWO HOURS left?! Too soon! Not enough! How long has this last season been?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

How long has this last season been?

It total, with the two hour finale, 14 hours.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Hmm, according to the TWOP recap, there was someone else in the shadows of the cargo plane that the Oceanic 6 were flying to Hawaii in. I did not notice this, though.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Interesting. I'm going to rewatch that, and check out the recap. I wanted there to be another, but I figured if there was another not shown on the plane, some reference would have been made at the press conference. Hmmm.

"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

I wonder if it could be one of the non-Oceanic people. If it were Desmond or Juliet, it would make sense that no reference could be made at the press conference.

What is even happening?

Man, they'd better not blow up Jin in the finale. I really want to believe that the grave we saw in an earlier episode's flashforward was just a necessary sham grave to keep up the illusion that no one else survived the plane crash, and Jin's still alive and kicking on the island.

I keep thinking the flashforwards are more "What might be," than "What is." Maybe I don't trust the flashforwards because we know we're dealing with time travel. Maybe I don't trust them because sometimes Jack is an utter wreck, and other times he's living with Kate and looking all pretty. Or perhaps I just don't trust the flashforwards because I don't trust the writing on this show to do anything more than sometimes entertain me in the moment. I have not ruled out the possibility that at the end of this series, we'll find everything turns out differently because someone held a butterfly for .02 seconds, and it flapped its wings one less time, changing the course of The World.

Actually, that's been pretty consistent. Wreck!Jack takes place some time after Pretty!Jack, and the flash-forwards to Pretty!Jack have occasionally showed hints of him becoming Wreck!Jack.

I'm confused because I thought Wreck!Jack called Kate to talk about the person that died. When she went to see him, they made reference to Jack not wanting to see "him" which I assumed was Aaron. At another point in time, they say he changed his mind and is happy to be around Aaron and he is Pretty!Jack but showing signs of becomming Wreck!Jack.

Wreck!Jack dealing with the person that died would be one of the future most episodes, right? But if he changed his mind from that point and wanted to see Aaron and then started the relationship with Kate? Help, I'm caught in a loop.

I don't think "him" referred to by Wreck!Jack is Aaron.
