Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

I wonder if it could be one of the non-Oceanic people. If it were Desmond or Juliet, it would make sense that no reference could be made at the press conference.

What is even happening?

Man, they'd better not blow up Jin in the finale. I really want to believe that the grave we saw in an earlier episode's flashforward was just a necessary sham grave to keep up the illusion that no one else survived the plane crash, and Jin's still alive and kicking on the island.

I keep thinking the flashforwards are more "What might be," than "What is." Maybe I don't trust the flashforwards because we know we're dealing with time travel. Maybe I don't trust them because sometimes Jack is an utter wreck, and other times he's living with Kate and looking all pretty. Or perhaps I just don't trust the flashforwards because I don't trust the writing on this show to do anything more than sometimes entertain me in the moment. I have not ruled out the possibility that at the end of this series, we'll find everything turns out differently because someone held a butterfly for .02 seconds, and it flapped its wings one less time, changing the course of The World.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Maybe I don't trust them because sometimes Jack is an utter wreck, and other times he's living with Kate and looking all pretty.

Actually, that's been pretty consistent. Wreck!Jack takes place some time after Pretty!Jack, and the flash-forwards to Pretty!Jack have occasionally showed hints of him becoming Wreck!Jack.

I'm confused because I thought Wreck!Jack called Kate to talk about the person that died. When she went to see him, they made reference to Jack not wanting to see "him" which I assumed was Aaron. At another point in time, they say he changed his mind and is happy to be around Aaron and he is Pretty!Jack but showing signs of becomming Wreck!Jack.

Wreck!Jack dealing with the person that died would be one of the future most episodes, right? But if he changed his mind from that point and wanted to see Aaron and then started the relationship with Kate? Help, I'm caught in a loop.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I don't think "him" referred to by Wreck!Jack is Aaron.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think Austin is right, but has the timeline a bit messed up.

I think the "him" is Aaron and at that point in the future, Jack and Aaron's relationship really has deteriorated - mostly because Jack was seeing visions!

Very probable.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

LOST - The Synchronizing:

Relive the events leading up to the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 and see what happened on the ground and in the air at the same moment from multiple angles.

This is pretty fucking awesome, you guys. It's worth watching.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Coolio!

Watching that reminded me of Jack's wound on his back that Kate stitches up. Because I'm grasping at continuity straws here, and was always a little irked at how quickly it disappeared, maybe the wound was right where his kidney/liver/spleen infection was?

(and isn't Jack getting sick a sign that the island hates him?)
