Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Our wings are not tired.

I thought that I was going to be disappointed with the Rose/Bernard reunion because I was looking forward to it so much. And yet not. The whole reunion scene was very sweet.

There was all together too much clothing in the shower. Don't these people understand that nekkid is the rule for showering?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I missed Jack n Sawyer in the shower?!? Damn!!! Why did I have to choose this episode to miss? Someone ease my pain and tell me there's screencaps?

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

As a rule, I hate slo-mo reunions. But Bernard and Rose made me sniffly, as did Jin and Sun.

I still violently dislike Ana-Lucia. And I don't quite understand why Jack looked *so* appalled/horrified/disappointed/whatever when he saw her.

My love for Mr. Eko grows episode by episode.

Sawyer and Jack in the shower -- in my brain, they were shirtless. And kissing.

They switched seats. She was up front and Jack was in the tail.

then why wasn't Jack with the tail section people and Ana with the front/middle people when they landed on the island? I don't remember this switch... strange.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

BTW, apparently Gabrielle Union was offered the part of Ana Lucia and she turned it down.

All is well that ends in pizza.

They switched seats. She was up front and Jack was in the tail.

After the switch she was in the tail?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I didn't think they had switched, I thought they just compared them to see if they were sitting near each other.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yaay Rose & Bernard. He's such a good actor. He always sells it for me. It was interesting, too, to see how different their personalities were, and how differently they'd reacted to their separation.

About Jack & Ana Lucia, there was the whole 42F comment thing, was that her seat initially or his? Thought it was his, which would mean they did switch, right? Which, huh. Because on that Oceanic seating chart there is no 42f. So maybe I'm misremembering. Will have to rewatch.

No one's commented on Jack's "whisper in the ear technique" crack? 'Cause, hee! Though if they clean up all the pairings so no one is in anyone else's way, that's all like, weird.

I do like Ana Lucia, but that's probably fairly predictable. She's definitely got the toughness and the inner cold that they wish Kate had. Didn't like the pregnancy reveal, but that's probably a personal ish, and I can roll with it.

Also!!! Speaking of going to the bathroom for too long, what the hell was Bernard doing buckled in to a seat next to a passenger, when I thought he was supposed to *be* going to the bathroom? Wasn't that why he and Rose were separated? Wasn't Jack supposed to be watching out for Rose until her husband came back from the bathroom? Surely this is too big an oversight to be an oversight, right? He wouldn't have had time to leave the stall, find a vacant seat and buckle in, right?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

what the hell was Bernard doing buckled in to a seat next to a passenger

I was wondering the same thing! Only thing I can think of is he sat down in the nearest empty seat when the plane started to bounce around, rather than going all the way back up to the front of the plane.
