Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

BTW, apparently Gabrielle Union was offered the part of Ana Lucia and she turned it down.

All is well that ends in pizza.

They switched seats. She was up front and Jack was in the tail.

then why wasn't Jack with the tail section people and Ana with the front/middle people when they landed on the island?

After the switch she was in the tail?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I didn't think they had switched, I thought they just compared them to see if they were sitting near each other.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yaay Rose & Bernard. He's such a good actor. He always sells it for me. It was interesting, too, to see how different their personalities were, and how differently they'd reacted to their separation.

About Jack & Ana Lucia, there was the whole 42F comment thing, was that her seat initially or his? Thought it was his, which would mean they did switch, right? Which, huh. Because on that Oceanic seating chart there is no 42f. So maybe I'm misremembering. Will have to rewatch.

No one's commented on Jack's "whisper in the ear technique" crack? 'Cause, hee! Though if they clean up all the pairings so no one is in anyone else's way, that's all like, weird.

I do like Ana Lucia, but that's probably fairly predictable. She's definitely got the toughness and the inner cold that they wish Kate had. Didn't like the pregnancy reveal, but that's probably a personal ish, and I can roll with it.

Also!!! Speaking of going to the bathroom for too long, what the hell was Bernard doing buckled in to a seat next to a passenger, when I thought he was supposed to *be* going to the bathroom? Wasn't that why he and Rose were separated? Wasn't Jack supposed to be watching out for Rose until her husband came back from the bathroom? Surely this is too big an oversight to be an oversight, right? He wouldn't have had time to leave the stall, find a vacant seat and buckle in, right?

Charlie did.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

what the hell was Bernard doing buckled in to a seat next to a passenger

I was wondering the same thing! Only thing I can think of is he sat down in the nearest empty seat when the plane started to bounce around, rather than going all the way back up to the front of the plane.

Oh yeah, huh?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Also, I find it funny that the tail section people, even with their much more difficult water landing, had fewer (no?) scar inducing injuries, even the pretty Hollywood just over the eye scars. Maybe those with serious injuries all died, because they couldn't swim in and didn't have the miraculous Dr. Jack?

That one guy had the horrible snappy broken leg, but you're right about there being far fewer moderate injuries.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Because on that Oceanic seating chart there is no 42f.

Sure there is. But this was my first time looking at that chart, so maybe it's been altered since you looked at it...?
