Oh for god's sake! kill him already!
Lost 2: Tied to a Tree in a Jungle of Mystery
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Oh, Sawyer is going to make sure it's the right guy this time.
Well, this was a lot of set up for just a little satisfaction.
Hmmm. I didn't see the episode because I was on the road to Atlanta. (woo!) The chatter of 8 posts isn't much help. Guess I'll watch it next week before the new episode.
I thought that was a good one. I was hoping Sawyer wouldn't kill Locke's father/Tom Sawyer, for his own sake, even though the man needed killing. People don't always stay dead on that island, though.
Locke makes me sad. He's going on his "own journey" straight back to the Others.
Jack (and I happen to like Jack a lot) needs a comeuppance almost as much as Locke's father needed killing. I'm glad Charlie, Hurley, Desmond, Jin and Sayid are (were trying to) keep him in the dark. Kate's not thinking with her head. And what is up with Jack not letting Kate in on info, when Juliet is ready to?
All I know is, if it ends up that they *are* all dead, and in some kind of limbo, I will....scream. Or something.
Stephen keeps saying it makes sense, and I keep arguing that it's too obvious right now -- that the writers have admitted they're cognizant of viewers' reactions and feelings, so they're having a little fun with it. But as much as I enjoyed the episode (Because Sayid! And Sawyer! And Jin!), I can't help feeling like they better figure out some way to make everything halfway sensible or logical in the end, or I may...write a strongly worded letter. Or something.
Maybe even glare at them from far far away?

I'm pretty sure the writers recently said that, no, they're still not all dead, don't worry. So, yeah, they're having a little fun with it.
Besides, we had that thing at the end of the finale last year where Penelope's crew located the island, which FINALLY paid off in this Naomi chick. That confirmed that the island is a real place observable by real-world people.

That's what I said -- but Stephen was enjoying the whole devil's advocate thing and said that Naomi must be dead, too, and Locke's dad.
And the sad thing is, with this show, there's no way to prove him wrong yet, because SO LITTLE MAKES ACTUAL SENSE.
Yet, I keep watching. There's still lots of pretty.
Without having scene the ep yet, do we have actual confirmation that helicopter-chick-who-was-on-Las-Vegas was definitely sent by Penelope? Could she be another Other plant, sent to convince them that they're dead for some reason?
