and also, the best con is when you don't know you've been conned, so, is there more to it? Like, they're still on the island with the lostaways, and looking at some other random island? Could a polar bear swim across? And why the hell would it?

Now that I think about it, when we saw the Others in that suburban style village, it sure looked like the plane crashed on the same island. Weren't there even comments like "if you run, you can infiltrate them"?

I'm sure, that if the heat didn't overcome the polar bear it could swim to the other island. Polar bears are very aquatic.

And actually, there are sections of the Pacific that have very cold currents. There's a reason why penguins live in the Galapagos.

I'm as frustrated as anyone here with the lack of WTFness with the "revelations" and all. However, I have to say -- there was very nice direction tonight in the scenes and acting, the editing and plot structure. Even if it's a ride to nowhere, individual episodes can still be well-made.

...but for plot/logic junkies like me, it's a very frustrating ride.
