Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Let's hope they also send Jack, Jin, Sayid and Sawyer to the future, then.

Our wings are not tired.

Well, I enjoyed this week more than the last couple. I like creepy Locke. And creepy Desmond. And creepy Eko.

Time for me to go crash now. Came in from yoga all super mellow and relaxed and planted myself for an hour in front of the tv. Can't keep lids open any more.

They really do have to start resolving some threads rather than always adding more. Too taxing for my brain.

I don't know if I want to have all Others camp one week, all beach folk the next. It would please me if they could have a bit of each character each week. Naked would be nice.

I love Hurley, but I do NOT want to see him naked.

Art Crawl!!!

No, naked Hurley.

I so wanted to watch and post but my computer was not cooperating.

I thought that this was much better. Crazy, visionary Locke is interesting. But seriously, did they just add Rodrigo Santoro in as one of the regular guys with no explanation at all?

Definitely like this ep more than the first 2. Things actually kinda happened, plus the return of (semi-)competent Locke is a good thing.

Really though, John, given that if you didn't have bad luck you'd have none at all, is "let's go get our people" a wise course of action?

What is even happening?

I liked last night's episode less. I thought the Locke-Boone Sweat Lodge vision was cool, but we've all known John Locke is amenable to coercion, since we learned he got conned out of a kidney by his own father who cared so little for him that he wouldn't even keep up a polite relationship after the con.

Dh knew the fertilizer it was for weed. I thought "bomb." I should have known it wasn't for bombs. Everyone was far too mellow.

Did we ever find out (in the last two seasons) how Locke ended up in that fricking chair in the first place? Maybe I missed it, and if so, some of my disappointment is misplaced. But really, just telling us that story would go a long way in mitigating the feeling that the plan is there is no plan.

Art Crawl!!!

No, we didn't. I really thought we were going to this time around.

Do we think that we didn't get a hint that Eko was being eaten by a bear in the season finale because the show wanted to surprise us? Or because the show didn't know that this was what happened to Eko? I'm inclinded towards the latter.

No, and since they didn't go into what happened after Locke let the cop go, I suspect we'll be getting another Locke episode at some point.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lost summary.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Boone survived a fall in a moving jet plane from 30,000 feet, but could not survive a fall in a stationary plane from 30 feet.

Heeeeeee.
