And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

Because books.

I don't ask Lost to make sense. I just let the stupid slide. I am entertained.

This is me. There is pretty Jack, and prettier Sawyer, and prettiest Sayid, and there's not a lot wrong with that.

Teh stupid is still entertaining me. They'll have to work pretty hard to disappoint me more than X-Files eventually did, but I've lost my faith that they're at least half a step more planned out than Chris Carter ever was.

I never thought they had much planned out, maybe a half of a sheet of paper with six important bullet points on it, but now I'm starting to think they don't even have that much.

Still, Chris Carter laid the ground work. They'll have to start really sucking to get me to give up on the show completely.

Yes, this. And with the enormous pretty factor, they may have to do more than that to make me turn it off.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, I'm sure they had bullet points at the beginning. It's just that I'm also pretty sure they spent most of the pre-S2 writers meeting using it to roll joints.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"Lost" has me for Season 3. After seeing wet Sayid, my loyalty was guaranteed. Damn.

The stupid doesn't bother me too much. At least, most of the pretty can act and those that can't have been killed off, so I'm happy. Of course, I'm sad they killed off some of the pretty, but I can't have everything. Shirtless! That's all I ask for.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I want to see the warehouse where they stored all of those pneumatic tubes before they used them. My god, imagine the space the ? site has now.

When they showed the snow filled research station, I half expected Locke and Eko to show up at the door, maybe Desmond, or even Walt and Michael.... Big magical magnetic anomoly/warp portal... Yep...

I don't theink the island's magic healing powers came from the magnetic whatsis kept in check, so Rose (and Locke, if he survived) will be OK.

Charle's nonchalance and the "What, they aren't back yet?" seems to me to indicate they all met up outside before the big blowout.

They need to sail around the whole island with the sailboat, and find Tom Hanks yelling at Wilson.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Gotta say, Locke re-losing use of his legs would get old real fast.

Has Claire been taking the shots? I rather like the idea that they're a seditive.

There's a whole slew of crossovers that really ought to happen. Castaway, certainly. Basically every maritime thing ever. X-Files, Doctor Who. You can cross pretty much anything over, I think, between the "now" and the flashbacks. Just think: Numb3rs meets The Numbers!

I don't know, it came across to me like Charlie had been kind of.... hit in the head or something, and had sort of blocked out the whole KABLOOIE!
