My daughter (14 y.o) and I were talking about the lockdown/food drop. My daughter posits that the lockdown coincides with a food drop and that maybe they lockdown to prevent anyone from flagging down the plane - except none of the people on the beach heard a plane (and neither did the audience) so that may shoot that theory outta the water already.
I love that Not!Henry totally underestimated Sayid's obession with proving who he really is (and that he wasn't wrong to not feel guilty about beating the shit outta Not!Henry)
I had to explain why I was laughing so hard at Kate's ruler line to the daughter...
I'm loving the thought that Locke's dad is the real Sawyer. It would make sense.

Depends upon the altitude of the drop, and the type of plane, I suppose. A high altitude drop isn't terribly precise for something that can't steer on the way down, but then again, there seems to be something on the island that can draw airborne objects to the island.
Either that, or they have a stealthed flying saucer.
Maybe they sent it in by balloon, and used an exploding bat (leftover from the Japanese military) to pop it when it got close enough?
Okay, okay, I'm being random today.
You know, what Lost Island really needs is a random Japanese WII soldier who thinks the war is still on....
Oh, I'll be damned. I thought the pile o' dharma food was Hurley's stash, from when Sawyer busted him eating doritos or something a few episodes ago.
Poor Locke. Poor, gullible Locke.

They really do. Except he'd be, like, eighty.
Commonly written on old maps as "Here there be dragons" and used to mark areas that hadn't been explored.
EW tries to decode the map.
But the Internet is wikitastic.

Given Eko's brother magically traveled thousands of miles, I wonder if the island doesn't affect time as well. Did you see Desmond's record collection?
Did you see Desmond's record collection?
Yeah, but Desmond didn't bring them. They've probably been in the bunker since it was built.
