Well, a coldon particle emitter would in essense be a time machine that could reach in to the future, grab radiant heat energy and pull it back into the present. So, just a very narrow, specific time machine.

I called and asked because, ok, I was drinking at the time I had this discussion. The original idea was a separate network, but there was some concern that the innovations paid for by the government should benefit everyone. So at this point there is a separate research-based backbone, codenamed Abilene, that is being developed out of my university, and a broader Internet 2 initiative that is supposed to interface with, and influence, the existing internet. The simplest example I can think about regarding that mix comes from the ingredients available. Where my mom grew up, they practically never tasted any dairy products, and of course never used them for cooking.

That had to simplify keeping kosher considerably.

My Atkins senses are tingling. I bet if you cut down on the cheap white carbs for a couple of days (bread, rice, potatoes) you will start to even out. And when you do snack go for protien or veggies.

I think they should bounce. It would explain all sorts of things. Instead of saying, "Someone must have walked on my grave," we'll say, "Someone's coldon particle emitter must have misfired." Much more Buck Rogers-y.

So I got a bite plate a few weeks ago that was supposed to be covered 80% by insurance. But when I paid at the dentist, the receptionist had the bill made up to look like it was only covered 60%, but the check came today, and it's for 80% coverage! Woohoo!

I know I'm not buying any more clothes this month, but I do need some fancy black hose to wear to the krav holiday party. By fancy I mean really really silky, and with a shimmer if possible.
