No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm tired, itchy, and bored beyond belief.

We might be -- I'm tired too.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Send it over.

One brain buster with a disco ball upgrade headed your way.

Seriously, I hope you're feeling better.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hopefully there is some long term thinking involved here too

This administration? I doubt it.

When it comes to health care, I'm a pessimist. I don't think we'll ever get universal health coverage in this country.

Scoot over. I need to be in that corner too, and I'm wearing super-fluffy skirts today.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What should I have for dinner?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And that's new around here, how?

It's usually not so literal.

Okay, here's my flu shot ish. AFAIK the flu shot only innoculates you against one or two strains, and since we don't have a vaccine for the scary bird flu, that won't be one of them.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I don't usually get a flu shot because they make me feel shitty, but after last November's little lung adventure I think I ought to -- they're not ALL the way better yet.

Make room for me too. My parents, who both picked up bugs in the ER week before last and felt miserable for the last 10 days, are nagging me to get a flu shot. I would be the guy who was in the same ER being coughed on by germy people much longer than they, and who shrugged off the viruses with no more than a one-day scratchy throat that might have been from sleeping with my mouth open in their heated-to-the-point-of-baking house.

Overwork, antisocial nature, and compulsive handwashing are my best friends during cold & flu season.

I think the flu shot works for more than two, and I think (I THINK) it can help somewhat with strains it doesn't cover specifically.
