"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Make room for me too. My parents, who both picked up bugs in the ER week before last and felt miserable for the last 10 days, are nagging me to get a flu shot. I would be the guy who was in the same ER being coughed on by germy people much longer than they, and who shrugged off the viruses with no more than a one-day scratchy throat that might have been from sleeping with my mouth open in their heated-to-the-point-of-baking house.

Overwork, antisocial nature, and compulsive handwashing are my best friends during cold & flu season.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think the flu shot works for more than two, and I think (I THINK) it can help somewhat with strains it doesn't cover specifically.

Yay!

What should I have for dinner?

Sushi. Followed by a cupcake. Oh wait, those are MY dinner plans. Plus finally going to see the W&G Were-Rabbit movie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's usually not so literal.

You've met us, right? Plagues of boils plus legbreaking are wished upon people on a daily basis. Sure, they're not often here, but I don't like to limit my repertoire. Don't like the chafing feeling.

I should probably get a flu shot. Because tempting fate never seems to work against me.

P.S. Fuck you Irony, you don't scare me one bit.

Dude! You've been rung up more than Steve Young. Unfortunately for you, he had the option of quitting the activity that was causing all the concussions.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sushi. Followed by a cupcake. Oh wait, those are MY dinner plans. Plus finally going to see the W&G Were-Rabbit movie.

steals Jilli's plans.

eta: I also just realized that I probably know exactly where all of these things are happening, and now I miss Seattle and you guys.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Here's my thing with flu shots. I have no contact with kids, who are most likely to pass it around, or with the elderly, who are most likely to be harmed by it. So I don't see the point in spending the money, getting the stick, or potentially using vaccine that someone else needs more.

Also I'm really lazy.

Yes, we are going to those places, and you should be here.

Let's see ... I could quit .. washing my face, going to the bathroom in general, going to the kitchen, walking through doors, and putting things down under shelves. Then I might be safe. Oh, and stairs. No more stairs. Sparring's fine though. That's got pillows in.

I'm eating sushi! One more and I'm done the California rolls! That I started yesterday...

I expect, nay hope, to have an appetite tomorrow.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sushi. Followed by a cupcake. Oh wait, those are MY dinner plans. Plus finally going to see the W&G Were-Rabbit movie.

I want to hang out with Jilli tonight.
