I am terrible about following recipes, too. That's why I suck at baking. Baking requires precision.

Yeah, I can do OK with baking, but I'm not that into it. And actually, the thing I bake most often is banana bread, which I use a recipe for the base of, but then add and subtract some stuff anyway. Not that I've made it in forever.

My one successful baking improvisation was turning a banana bread recipe into pumpkin bread. Mmm.
