You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. Tasting is good. I can do tasting.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm terrible with the measuring. Even when I fake like I'm using a recipe, I make half of it up. I got it from my mother.

I actually do that a lot too. It just takes me a couple of tries with a new recipe to get it how I like it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am terrible about following recipes, too. That's why I suck at baking. Baking requires precision.

Hrm. Not sure it will make enough brownies even if I double the batch.

Yeah, I can do OK with baking, but I'm not that into it. And actually, the thing I bake most often is banana bread, which I use a recipe for the base of, but then add and subtract some stuff anyway. Not that I've made it in forever.

My one successful baking improvisation was turning a banana bread recipe into pumpkin bread. Mmm.

Okay, I'm gonna go make the brownies. I can just cut them kind of wee.

Ooh, that sounds yummers. As do brownies for class! One of my classes last night was devoted to time for the groups to meet, and the prof brought wine and cookies, and it was awesome. So nice.

move out and draw fire

I can't remember if it was in Natter that folks were talking about why some people vote against things that would benefit them personally (i.e., gay Republicans)...but a friend just linked me to an interesting article from the NYT Magazine that might explain it: [link]

It's interesting to see initial study results mirror something I've thought for a while.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're in for a treat, PMM. The series as a whole is great, and Danny rocks the house.
