While it is true that you are smart, that doesn't mean that you always know best, or that you know what the situation is here. Here is not the same as there.

Also, before you tell people that they are doing something wrong, maybe you should try learning a little more about the situation. Different is not the same as wrong.

Co-worker with the sly smile sent me links to pictures in Flickr from his Hawaii vacation. Obviously I now have to look at all his pictures, but the question is -- do I send him links to my Kenya pics, knowing he'll look at everything there?

Salaried staff here get 6 paid holidays, and a minimum of 10 days vacation. I think I get 19 or 20 now. There's an additional 8-16 vacation hours as part of our holiday bonus, depending on how well the company is doing. And everyone gets 10 days of sick leave. Everything rolls over, and is paid out if you leave the company.

But a large portion of our staff is not salaried. I believe they get something that's a lot like dick.
