You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

Ew for the roach. Too tired to read the ethics discussion.

Just skipping to say, did anyone else post about getting all 7 seasons of Buffy on an iPod?

I don't want them preloaded though. I want to buy them and load them myself. Though Mr. Jane thinks he has a way to do this, so perhaps I don't care, but Buffy! while I'm working late!

I don't think counting cards is a big deal, and I can't wrap my head around not illegal, not assholeish, but still wrong.

I also hate dress codes. I am the anti-ita (though most certainly not anti-ita).

Also, I'm thinking of sending a care package to my sister. I want to FTD her a small tree and send some presents in the mail or with our other sister so she won't be so lonely. This is the first Christmas since our little brother died that she won't be there with us. I may have mentioned, because I'm so fucking proud, that she's the first woman to play the Elf in the Santaland Diaries- so good for her, but bad timing. Are there any suggestions for cheapish, small presents for a tomboyish, snarky, tall, lanky, comedic actress?

hmm... tough one. an iPod? I kind of want to get an iPod for everyone this year.

BTW, Grey's Anatomy folks: am I the only one that thinks a perfect pairing (granted of dysfunction & misery) would be Alex/Meredith? It would cause such angst...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Boxing nun?

You're a nice sister.

I love boxing nun! I also love iPod, but not of the cheap.

I'm not that nice. She'll be missed, and I don't know if I could deal if I couldn't make it home. It's going to be strange because usually we're all there by the 22nd or so, which was our little brother's birthday. We have a party for him, and then we do Christmas Eve. I won't be there for the 22nd, and I'm sick about it. I can't imagine how she feels not being able to be there for either, but still doing this really awesome thing for her.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am in love with bon bon right now for her use of Kantian ethics to justify card counting.

I am also wicked tired and I think I'll be going to bed right after I get the matress cover out of the dryer.

Yeah, that must be so hard for all of you. At least she has the awesome thing, too.

Kat, I think that GA thing would be cool.

True. Though I think she may be a bit more sensitive than R and I. Like, she'll not only feel bad because she's not there, but she'll feel bad because we may miss her, and now she has this good thing, but she can't really get all excited about it, and then she'll feel bad for feeling sorry for herself. She's a really, really good person.

Anyone in or near Austin, on or around Christmas go see The prettiest Macy's elf evar! (Scroll to the bottom)

What's with Paul McCartney? Is there a reason why NONE of his music is in the iTunes store? Does he hate Steve Jobs or something?

I'm looking for Wonderful Christmastime and I can't find it there and am pissed. Anyone have it and is willing to get it to me somehow?
