You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I marked my calendar, not to plan any trip to Australia on September of 2006, then. Where are you going to visit in the USA? And which zoos? Any specific plans already?

Ah, well, I want to attend DragonCon in Atlanta (I had a blast there in 2004). San Diego too, as usual. And LA, because there are people to catch up with and it's the easiest exit point from the US. Beyond that it's still flexible. Oh, and I may well visit London too, to catch up with Dave the Office Brit.

I want to attend DragonCon in Atlanta

It's always good to have a specific reason for a trip. It makes you - well, me - save the date and not change it because of reasons that are not-that-important and not delay it because of work/school/whatever. Also, of course, the reason in and of itself.

San Diego too, as usual

That's what I was thinking when I asked about zoos, in fact.

it's the easiest exit point from the US

Well, to your side of the globe. It took me a minute to remember that (considering I still have a hard time with timezones, that's not so surprising).

I may well visit London too

Before or after the USA?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

msbelle, I think I may hate you a little. I'm in class. I don't want to be in class. Class is soooo boooooring. We're proving equivalences between shapes sensorally. "as above" as infinitum.

Then you'll have to make enough fun during it to make it count. Or you don't "must" do anything at all, which may end up as the same thing, really.

Debet, how long before the boring class is over? Also, nice to post with you!

Glad to hear the migraine held off some.

I think Catalina may have broken me sleep wise.

I'm just hoping I'm broken enough that I'm fixed back on the east coast. And yes, this really does make sense. If I'm lucky.

No one is getting a cold, damnit. I decree it.

It is colder here than in B'more. Which is odd, but at least I can be reassured I won't totally popsicle waiting for a shuttle to my car.

I got to see seals (sea lions? must check I don't know my marine mammals) yesterday. So I 've seen bison, comorants, pelicans, the sea mammal mentioned above, a monkey, deer and lots and lots of gulls. And some random orange fish. I like the critters.

Y'know what? I have cognitive dissonance when I highlight the word 'orange' in pink. t / makes sense in my head

sara! Yay on the critters sightings (I love them too), and on the use of "popsicle" as a verb. So you had a good holiday?

(I hope you say "yes" because I'm already jealous, and it's easier not to shift emotions while they're still in their middle.)

I have cognitive dissonance when I highlight the word 'orange' in pink

Makes perfect sense to me, as well. Does that mean that I actually residein your head?

I think my head is a scary place Nilly, not sure if you want to live there....

I did have a good holiday, despite the sick and the contagion and all that. Would have been awesome with 99% less snot, but you make do with what you are dealt. I got several longish (well, timewise) walks in, which seemed to mitigate the cold, plus interesting. I got to see 3 planes take off from a teeny mountaintop airport on a tour to the interior which I was very glad I went on. It was the last tour of the day, so nearing sunset (bison silhouetted against the sun!) and the clouds were wrapping themselves into the ravines and...it was just incredible. I'll get my pictures online eventually.
