All is well that ends in pizza.

on GG: I think Luke is kinda stunned, and then Rory came back. He is still trying to figure out how to bring it up with Lorelai.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

That's also very possible, Daniel, but I think the longer he doesn't bring it up, the less likely it is that he will. And the more likely it will come up elsewhere, especially what with telling Liz

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

one of the few times in the year I have to do my own dishes is the time it takes two days. Is that on topic?
On topic but tragic. I long to actually have a dishwasher again.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gilmore Girls: I can understand why Luke didn't tell Lorelai when Rory first came home, but last week was just ridiculous. It is so against his character to lie or to not acknowledge his daughter.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Exactly, sj.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Nice to see you round these parts, Herah!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

HERAH!

I have no content, though.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

The conversation comparing TDay to 4th of July pinged me. It was one of those rare moments when I realize that family traditions are sometimes just FAMILY. My parents got married on the 4th and for most of my life, they threw a HUGE block party on that day. My sister married on the same day so she could share their anniversary. The 4th was always a big deal in my family. Now that my parents are dead, the holiday no longer requires being with family, and I have to say I haven't adjusted.

Also, YAY for Alibelle's vehicular triumph. Forget about cat sitting, I want to know if she's available to babysit.
