Shit's all sorts of different now.

Turkey stuffed and in oven.

Pies baked and on stove.

Squash squished and in fridge.

Aimee being marinated in caffiene as we speak to wake up enough to make her annual Thanksgiving Morning Big Lots run for incidentals.

Nilly, I know! It's hard for us to believe as well. We are having a Princess Party for her. I am baking a castle cake, and people are getting tiaras as a "present" from Em, and she will be decked out entirely in pink so that she can tear into her chocolate cake and make a grand mess of it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, we're trying the coffee thing again, with slightly less coffee and much more water. Cinammon rolls are in the oven, and pancake fixings are on the way.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh I am looking forward to the Princess Party pictures.

We do have much to be thankful for. And with that I get back to the kitchen. It is fun to read other people's cooking and prepping tales.

Oh, Kat, in the spirit of making-people-do-things, can you make somebody else write your paper?

I could try. But I am a control freak. Not about food. But definitely about schoolwork. Unless you want to write my paper.

Well, pink and brown look nice together, right? Take pictures, OK?

[Edit:

Unless you want to write my paper.

What is it about?

And are you sure you want a non-English-speaking mostly-equations-studying person [Another Edit: who can't spell] to write it for you?]

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Thanksgiving to all American Buffistas!

We're going to G's mom's for dinner. All we're expected to bring is wine. Yay.

Sure! You write better than lots of English-Speaking people!

Absolumo!

Excellento! (And I only wrote that because "yayo!" looked strange. Like mayo without the top or something).

You write better than lots of English-Speaking people!

Well, flattery can take you quite far... Especially since you're teaching writing (sort of, right?), so it's a compliment from a professional.

What's the paper about?

One of my former roommates studied English, and whenever she had to write a paper about something they had to read, we would sit and play with it, try to come up with the craziest ideas. More often than not, she used the craziest ones for the papers. It was lots of fun - just letting thoughts run wild and see where they may end up taking us.
