Going back for a second, since I'm taking notes, um what now? On the +/- day on the remote? I got all the other stuff, and I too found the PiP buttons by accident rather than by experiment. But I find myself urgently curious about +/- day.

On the DVR remote there's two buttons marked "day". They are used when you're in the guide to go forward or backward 24 hours.

There are few occasions when I need to do multiplication and I don't at least have my phone and/or blackberry handy. Or a computer! I can't remember the last time I did multiplication on paper.

Re: arithmetic -- for my Econ midterm last week, she strongly encouraged us to bring calculators, just so we didn't get tripped up by something easy, even though there wasn't likely to be a ton of computation. One of my friends forgot her calculator that day, and ran out to buy one. On the test? There was exactly one bit of subtraction to do. Eh.

The A thing: If you're in guide, you can go forward in 100-channel increments by pressing the A button. If you're in the title guide, you can go forward by title by using the C button.

Jesse, that happened to me with the latest Harry Potter book. Even after the book had been delivered to me, Amazon's web site *still* said I didn't have any recent orders.
