Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

TAR: I think that the Weavers are delustional. They seem to think that they've done nothing to deserve the antipathy they're getting from the other teams . .. but, for example, what had the Gadlewskis ever done to them before they through garbage at them? Maybe the reaction of the Linz and Gadlewski families are extreme but I'm not sure it's undeserved.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I dislike Dallas with a passion I usually reserve for Florida and Oklahoma. I could root for Detroit maybe.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't believe I have to leave before Ellen gets to New York's smallest apartments, because I can tell just from the promo that I've lived in a smaller apartment than the one she's showing. BAH.

OK, off to the aeropuerto. Adios!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm at work today, and though I'm diligently trying to be a good worker bee, I'm mostly browsing podcasts for my SHINY NEW iPOD!!! (Well, shiny refurbished iPod, thank you Apple store -- a silver 6GB Mini.)

Oh, did any of you guys see the ad for Denis Leary's "Merry Fucking Christmas" show on Comedy?

I immediately thought of the Buffistas when I saw the ad.

You know after hearing Cheney talk about how outragous and reprehensible suggesting that we were mislead into war, Rumsfeld talking about how he wasn't a advocate for the war, and Bush talking about how things are going great in the war, I think that when the Iraqi minister of information disppeared he actually secretly starting working for the Bush administration as an advisor.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm at work.

But soon I'll have to leave to take a train to downtown Chicago, and another train to a western suburb to go see a retina specialist. She will decide if my eye gets lasered. It's possible she might laser my eye on the same visit. I'll have to explain that I suffer from anxiety and therefore need an extra big dose of Valium first before anyone comes anywhere near my eye with a laser. But considering how I feel now, I might end up falling asleep.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I am at work. I have tons of work to do. I have people harassing me for things they need ASAP. It's snowing like crazy and I have to go shopping after work for birthday gifts.

I hate today.

I'm at work too. Pretty normal day though, just fewer people here.
