The wind is shaking my house...
Ooh, they could also have dyed the water yellow. And put up great big signs saying, "Welcome to Urinetown!"
You know, I was actually expecting another Ricky Martin joke after this.
Er, vw's gone to bed, so I'll answer. I like GG just fine -- NotEmily doesn't much like it.
Yay! It's almost time to go fill the loaner car up with gas, go to the dealership, do paperwork, get my car back, go to Cost plus, go home, pack, neaten and watch TV.
Ah - on GG - did you think that Luke thinks he can just not tell Lorelai ?
When I was a kid I always wondered if people really saw the same colors as everyone else. (I've mentioned that here before). I didn't think there was any way to prove that the color we call red looks the same to everyone else.
You people are all nuts. Except askye, because I still don't believe that everyone sees colors the same way. How could we know??
there is no way to know about the color thing! drives me nuts.
Coming to this late, because I’m not allowed on the board during the day anymore, but this question has perplexed sensory psychologists for generations. They actually spend time working on this. After years of controversy, recent experiments involving people’s perceptions after adding or subtracting or multiplying aspects of the visual spectrum, and looking at brain scans when people see colors, have convinced most psychologists that we all see the same colors.
I’d tell you more, but this sensory psychology stuff is so boring that I fell asleep the last time I tried to read about it. I do remember that all of the old enemies decided to be friends and believe that we see the same colors.
So, wait? We *do* all see the same colors. My paranoia-filled childhood musings seem so pointless now.

But think how many millions of dollars went towards that end.

At least our brains look the same when we do. I'm still not convinced.
