If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Is there a good cheese to subsitute when recipes call for feta?

Goat cheese can work for the taste, but the texture might be an issue depending on what you're making.

Coming belatedly to the "what Christmas means to non-Christians" talk. For me, and most Jews I know, Christmas is "Chinese Food and Movie day! Yay!".

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Milking a bean sounds downright impossible. Or perhaps wrong.

And decidedly euphamistic.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Milking a bean sounds downright impossible.

I have beans, Cash. Can you milk them?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Gorganzola might do in a pinch.

I edited!!

Not before lifting my spirits.

Why are you looking for a Feta substitute? If it is a calorie thing Presidente makes a fat free Feta. Can't be a lactose intolerance thing, cause the other cheese have lactose too. Ah, I'm being foolish; maybe it's an "I don't like Feta" thing.

brillig

There are many good reasons to watch channels like the History Channel et al. Not the least among them being that last night, while watching a show about the various interpretations of "War of the Worlds, I discovered that

Jeff Wayne is making an animated movie of his musical version!!!!!!

Oh, gods, how wonderful. Hubby and I both whirled toward the TV when that gorgeous main anthem came on, then we saw animated clips and gaped at each other. Yes, yes, yes! I've been thinking this should be done for years!! I've adored that album since I first heard it back when it first came out, and I own it on LP and CD!

Sigh. 2007. It better damned well get released in the States.
