I adore Christmas music with a kind of unholy passion (and the irony is not lost on me). But, I only allow myself to listen to it from T'giving to New Year's Day. It's a thing.

xmas music is just another whole thing. I don't like hearing them 24/7. but I like playing them in may car. and because the music is so constant - I will find myself walking around singing it - at the beach - in july.

1. I was a much more rational 5 year old than many of you.
2. My new favorite holiday is Christmas Eve, because our new tradition (started last year) is to build a fire and sit around watching Wallace and Gromit shorts and eating fancy cheese (Wensleydale, natch, but I am also fond of a good Chesire. And schmancy crakers). Although now that I have a kid who grokks the whole present thing, yet is too young to by cynical, I can see Christmas day being pretty fun, too.
