Swouncing

Thanks, msbelle. I will. And my wet inside-out shoes will make a splotchy-squishy sound with each merry step home.

[Edit: heh, a "thanks, msbelle" x-post. You sure started your week doing nice things!]

Have better Mondays, everybody!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I could just go home early and change my clothes and dry my feet and not go back to the university but make some soup instead, right?

That's clearly the Right Thing To Do. I mean, seriously.

Oh! I have a dilemma. I have a pass for a free screening of Rent tonight. Awesome, right? Except, the screening is at 6pm and I work until 5. The last time I went to go to one of these things, it was a movie that I had never heard of and didn't even look that good, and getting there 45 minutes ahead of time meant I was too late to get in. So the odds I'd even get in are slim. And I still have a paper to write and an apartment to clean by tomorrow evening.

I guess I don't really have a dilemma and should just give the pass away.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The last time I came into work wet, I was sick before the end of the day.

Grr... A user just emailed me a request, and then walked over to my cube to ask me if I did it, and he got here before the email arrived.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Last week we were 45 minutes early for our Rent screening and a whole bunch of people didn't get in. There was a lot of press. t fish-eyes phone bone

I hate people who do this. I hate them a lot. I hate them even more when they sent me a ginormous request which will take hours, and then proceed to harass me about it every fifteen minutes. I'm always tempted to ask them if they have nothing to do, and if so, would they like me to remedy that.

I'm sure it won't be OMG AWESOME, but you know I don't care. Also, I love free. But no! No free for me!!
