Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wrote a paper once. It wasn't fun. I don't envy you one bit, but rather congratulate you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sbeta, a native of Libya, gets help from Poncho the Goat, a loyal ram who several times a day leads a small group of kid goats through a narrow alley to the slaughterhouse door. Poncho leaves the animals inside and trots back to a cozy corral while a worker slits the throats of his former charges.
Goat concentration camps. Without the forced labor and more with the just killing.

I feel like Meredith, and I don't like it.

Me too, Jesse.

I really like Izzy. I wish she has something more to do than Alex.

So I started fasting for this blood test at 10pm. It was almost 9:30 by the time they actually took my blood. Even though I've already had something to eat and drink, I still feel icky.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Did anybody watch The Poseidon Adventure remake on TV? Now I'm curious as to just how much of a trainship crash it was.

Well, you know it won't be good when the "description" that pops up when you hit "Info" on the digital cable starts "In this remake of the far superior 1972 film..."

Not kidding.

Swouncing

Kat, yay for revelations!

Sue, regarding recovering from a fast: eat and drink small amounts, don't have too much at the same time, but do't stop. Especially with drinking. Keep a bottle with fluids next to you and make sure you sip occasionally. At least, that's what helps me, usually. Feel better soon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But I have seen the light about how to approach 3 of my 5 papers. That was last night's revelation.

For a short paper, that's like 3/4 of the battle, don't you think? So that's good.

I didn't even realize on GA that what's his name's boyfriend meant that he was the, and I swear that's what it said, "courageously gay" one. Maybe he's going to sue the state of WA over same sex marriage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

GA was not sparkling last night, but I loved loved Preston going all Iron Chef, squirmed appropriately at Christina's reaction, and cheered when Bailey yelled at the chief to go home. She pulls no punches when she's taking care of people.

And Desperate Housewives, despite being a good until-GA timekiller, has got to go off my season pass list. The whole "didn't value being pregnant until I lost it in a freak accident but at least I keep my figure" thing is way @@.

Thanks for advice Nilly. I'm sipping water right now.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

what I liked about the gay thing on GA, was that it was just normal, regular. No reaction, no whispering about it, no nothing, just like it should be.

Late to work, boss out sick.

I really need to stop trying to do EVERYTHING possible on Sunday night, which leads to being up too late which leads to oversleeping and then being late and tired at work on Monday. Bah. Still, really short week for me, 1.75 days.

msbelle, I'd not have raised an eyebrow, except the interview used the phrase that Jesse quoted, and it was a cheat of a tease, since he's an ancillary character, plus the whole "courageous???!?" thing is a load of hooey.

I started this morning by cleaning the kitchen and renewing my driver's license. I should probably shower.
