"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

That would be fun! Bon, when does Bob finish?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

He would finish in August, and then be on the market for a year-- so if we moved it'd be in summer 2007. The whole job-getting process is a crapshoot, but if I move anywhere it'd be cali.

Do they do postdocs in his field, or is it straight to position? (just overly curious about other fields.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The actors are very good on AD, but they're very good at being annoying characters. I don't care for any of them (even though I have a newfound Bateman crush, I think his character should have done the AZ thing).

Excellent. I mean, if you're going to be a bottom feeder, superflous is kindest on the conscience, right?

Trying Sherlock Holmes and the Silk Stockings instead.

Straight to.

In my dante class we got into an argument about altruism and I totally thought of Bob.

I also used the word phlebotnum to explain something Dante did that was totally inconsistent. And I accused him doing "Dantean handwaving." I would have used retcon but I didn't want to expose any fannish relationships because they already think I'm a nerd.

hip deep in pie

I saw someone who looked kind of like Bob dressed up as a Carrot in the Holiday Parade of Light.

Question for the hivemind: My doctor is sending me for a bunch of tests, including a fasting blood glucose test. However, she neglected to tell me how long I have to fast. I googled and have found times between anywhere from 6-10 hours. So I'm going with the ten, just to be safe. But does anyone know if I can drink water during the fast? I really want to do this tomorrow morning, so the results can be ready for my next doctor's appt.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Sue, all my fasting glucose tests have included the instructions, "nothing to eat or drink after midnight". My test times have always been between 8-9 a.m.
